I am a Clinical Psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario since 2019, and was previously registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa.
I completed my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2011 and have worked in both hospital and private practice settings with adults, adolescents, and couples from diverse backgrounds.
Over the years, I have come to deeply respect the courage it takes to seek help, especially during times of distress, uncertainty, or feeling stuck. My work is grounded in a relational, attachment-informed approach, where therapy is not about quick fixes, but about understanding the patterns, experiences, and emotions that shape how we relate to ourselves and others. As well as appreciating the relief of how human it is to struggle.
I strive to create a space that is thoughtful, collaborative, and emotionally attuned, where difficult feelings such as anger, fear, shame, or loss can be explored safely and at a pace that feels manageable. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model, I tailor therapy to each person’s unique history, culture, relationships, and goals.
Having lived and trained across different cultural contexts, I am mindful of how transitions, identity, and belonging can influence emotional wellbeing. My aim is to help clients make sense of their experiences, develop greater self-understanding, and move toward lives that feel more connected, meaningful, and sustainable.
